Describes information and utilities for regulators and practitioners interested in understanding the possible benefits of free-product removal. Specifies theory and concepts needed to evaluate LNAPL source distribution, chemistry, dissolution and the effects various remediation strategies may have on risk-reduction for the groundwater and vapour exposure pathways.
